Fresno Pacific had three players selected to the All-GSAC team after the wrap-up of the regular season.
Tyler Pryor was selected as one of four outfielders,
Kelyn Schellenberg was one of four pitchers and
Case Rigby was the GSAC’s best first-basemen.
Rigby was also honored as one of nine GSAC Gold Glove Awards, again as the GSAC’s top first-basemen.
Both Pryor and Rigby finished up the regular season batting over .400 and with 8 and 9 home runs, respectively. Rigby led the GSAC with 68 RBIs while Pryor led the conference in batting average (.448) and on base percentage (.510).
Kelyn Schellenberg (8-3) finished the regular season with 15 starts, 7 complete games and 112.2 innings pitched, more than any other pitcher in the conference.
The Sunbirds prepare for their conference tournament on Monday, May 10 where they will take on the Master’s College in their first game at 12 noon.
