FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific kicks off season at home in an all-comers meet featuring San Jose State. The Sunbirds performed well coming in first in 21 of the 30 events.
Brandy Hurd led the way for the women taking the 200m (25.55) and tying teammate Bridney Reese in the 60m (7.98). On the men’s side, Ethan Dejongh took three events for the Sunbirds. Dejongh won the 60m hurdles (8.32) on the track and took the long jump (7.01m) and triple jump (13.81m) as well.
Next weekend the Sunbirds will take on Point Loma Nazarene in their first dual meet of the season. The meet will be all day on Saturday, February 7 at Fresno Pacific.
