FRESNO, CA -- The Fresno Pacific women's tennis doubles team of
Katia Sabate and
Vanessa Heroux lost in the quarterfinals of the prestigious Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Indoors Tournament on Friday (Nov. 6) in New Haven, Conn.
Sabate/Heroux were beaten 8-2 by Gabriella Meija and Laura Vallverdu of Miami.
The Sunbirds duo reached the Indoors field by winning the NAIA championship and the ITA's Small Colleges Super Bowl last month.
