FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (14-11) had no trouble getting the win in their final regular season game.  The Sunbirds take down Fresno State 23-4.

Glen Lyon led the Sunbirds with four goals even with only playing the first half.  The Sunbirds managed to get 11 different Sunbirds finding the back of the net for a goal by the end of the night.  Tim Kahn, Milorad Pavlovic and Chris Maldonado all followed Lyon with three goals apiece.

Riley Warner and Ray Eggert split goalie duties while Warner had five saves and Eggert led with six saves.

Coach Brian Suhovy commented, “It’s great getting everyone in the game to contribute.”

The Sunbirds led 9-0 after the first quarter and 13-1 at halftime.  “Getting a win to finish the regular season is the way we want to go into the NAIA Invite,” continued Coach Suhovy, “We’re excited to get to Nationals and play hard.”

The NAIA National Invitational will be held on Friday, November 20 hosted by Cal Baptist.  Their first game will be against No. 10 Concordia at 9 a.m.
